Star Test: Reading + Math + Early Literacy (K–12)
Renaissance Star is a norm-referenced standardized assessment approved by the Florida Department of Education for PEP Scholarship students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
 
What's Included?
Your purchase includes ONE Star testing session during the testing month selected on your order, with access to the applicable assessments:

You do not need to purchase separate Reading, Math, or Early Literacy products.
 
Reading or Early Literacy?
Star Reading is for students who can read independently and read test questions without assistance.
Star Early Literacy is designed for beginning, emerging, and non-readers and also assesses foundational early numeracy skills for preschoolers.
Not sure which to use? A younger student may begin with Early Literacy and, if appropriate, also complete Star Reading during the same authorized testing session.
Star Math may also be completed during the same session and is required for K-12.
 
Choose Your Testing Month
Select your child's testing month when ordering. Testing must be completed by the last day of the selected month and does not automatically roll over to another month.
⚠️ Once an assessment is started, all Star testing must be completed within 7 days.
 
One Testing Session Included
This purchase authorizes ONE testing session only. Access to a Star account does not authorize unlimited or repeat testing.

Detailed Diagnostic Reports Included
The applicable detailed Star Diagnostic Report(s) will be emailed within 5 business days after testing is completed.
Reading, Math, and Early Literacy reports may arrive in separate emails.
Please save your reports and check Spam/Junk/Promotions if needed.
Replacement or additional report requests are $25 per subject. This applies to reports that must be retrieved, regenerated, resent because an incorrect email was provided, or a different/additional report is requested.
The $25 report fee does NOT purchase or authorize additional testing.

• Parents/guardians are responsible for submitting reports to Step Up For Students, schools, districts, evaluators, or other organizations. PEP Testing does not submit reports to third parties.
